Fees
Last updated: 24 February 2026
Overview
This page describes the current fee structure applicable to Sikka.fun (“Sikka,” “we,” or “our”).
Sikka.fun is a non-custodial decentralized application deployed on the Shardeum network. We do not custody user assets or control user wallets. All blockchain transactions are executed directly through user-owned wallets.
The fees listed below are determined by the Platform’s smart contracts and may change over time. They do not include network “gas” fees charged by the blockchain, wallet software fees, or taxes/duties levied under applicable law.
Token Creation
There is no platform fee to create a token on Sikka.fun. Creators can deploy tokens and make them available on the bonding curve without paying any upfront platform charges.
| Action | Fee |
|---|---|
| Create a token on Sikka.fun | Free (0 SHM) |
Bonding Curve Trading Fees
As of the “Last Updated” date, buy and sell transactions on the Sikka.fun bonding curve are subject to a total platform fee of 1.5%. These fees are automatically calculated and enforced by the smart contracts.
| Component | Percentage | Applied On | Paid To | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Protocol fee | 1.0% | Buys & Sells | Protocol Treasury | Supports platform development and operations |
| Creator fee | 0.5% | Buys & Sells | Token Creator Wallet | Automatically distributed per trade |
| Total | 1.5% | Buys & Sells | Split Automatically | Programmatically enforced |
How Fees Are Calculated
- On buy transactions, fees are calculated on the SHM amount supplied by the user.
- On sell transactions, fees are calculated on the SHM amount returned to the user.
- All fees are collected in SHM.
- Creator fees are distributed instantly to the creator's wallet. No manual claiming is required.
- All fees are non-refundable once a blockchain transaction is confirmed.
- Fee estimates displayed in the interface are for informational purposes and may vary slightly due to blockchain execution conditions.
Slippage is Not a Fee
Sikka.fun uses a constant-product bonding curve mechanism. As a result:
- Larger trades may experience price impact ("slippage")
- Slippage results from algorithmic pricing mechanics
- Users may set minimum acceptable output values to protect against excessive slippage
Future Liquidity Mechanisms
Sikka.fun may introduce additional liquidity mechanisms or transition models in future protocol updates.
Any such mechanisms will be documented and disclosed prior to implementation.
Network Fees and Third-Party Charges
Blockchain network (“gas”) fees:
- Are charged by the Shardeum network
- Are not controlled by Sikka.fun
- May vary based on network conditions
Wallet providers or third-party interfaces may apply separate fees. Sikka.fun does not collect or control such third-party charges.
Fee Changes
All fees are subject to change due to:
- Protocol upgrades
- Governance decisions
- Network conditions
- Regulatory requirements
